Sorona

Sorona® is a sustainably sourced, partially plant-based polymer (utilising renewable corn glocose) designed by DuPont as a durable, eco-efficient performance fibre. It offers long-lasting stretch, softness, stain resistance, and shape recovery, making it a sustainable alternative to spandex and nylon in apparel. 

• Bio-Based Composition: Produced with 37–40% renewable plant-based ingredients (PDO).
• Environmental Impact: Production requires 30–40% less energy and emits 50–63% fewer greenhouse gases compared to nylon.
• Performance: Exceptional stretch and recovery (no elastane needed), soft feel, breathable, moisture-wicking, and quick-drying.
